Privacy Policy

SiteDims is an iPhone and iPad app for recording site photos, measurements and markups, used by businesses and their teams. This policy explains what the app handles, where it is kept and how to reach us. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1Who we are

SiteDims is provided by the SiteDims team in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us"). Contact us at the email at the end of this policy.

4Device permissions

The app asks for each permission only when you use the feature that needs it. You can change any of them in Settings › SiteDims.

5Where it is stored

Dropbox, Apple, Google and Microsoft may store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies. The app connects to them directly from your device.

Google user data

If your company keeps its projects in Google Drive, or you turn on the Google Drive backup, SiteDims asks Google for access to your Drive. It uses that access only to list, open, create and update the project folders and files (project details, photos, PDFs and videos) in the folder your company chose, or in the "SiteDims Backup" folder. Sign in with Google gives the app your name and email address, used as described above.

SiteDims' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6Your company controls its projects

The projects belong to the company whose storage they are kept in. The person who manages your company's plan can see the names and emails of the people on it, invite people and remove them. Questions about a company's project records are best directed to that company.

7How long it is kept

Projects stay in your company's storage until your company deletes them. Projects deleted in the app move to a Recently Deleted folder in that storage and are removed after the period set in the app's Settings. Uninstalling the app or using Settings › Delete Account & Data removes everything the app keeps on the device.

9Children

SiteDims is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16.
